It looks slightly different but is the official replacement for both the earlier Version 1 (3602R) and the 3491R valve — this is the version you’ll receive when you order. It’s used in the tap model shown here, typically from around 2009. At that time, both this valve and the 3491R (also 28-spline and interchangeable) were in circulation. If your tap has a 20-spline valve — usually from 2009 or earlier — you’ll need the 1212R instead.
